Drop or Withdraw a Class
Students may drop a class up to and during the drop/add period through MyCharleston. After that time, students withdraw from courses.
If a student voluntarily withdraws from a course before the official withdrawal deadline (this deadline is not related to the refund period), the grade of "W" is entered on the student's record. The "W" will not affect the student's GPA.
To withdraw from individual courses with a grade of "W," students should access MyCharleston on the Web by the withdrawal deadline. For assistance call 843.953.4958 or 843.953.6913.
